Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multi-cultural family. Born in South London. Her mother is English and her father Nigerian. She was born and raised on a council estate in the south of London. When she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained a BA degree in acting. In her time at the school, she performed in numerous stage plays, such as the King Henry V's Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her career as an actress in the movie Storm Damage. In the years since Madekwe's appearance in Teachers as well as Doctors.
