Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. She's released over 20 albums. DiFranco classifies her music as folk-rock or alternative. But it contains influences such as punk, hip-hop, and jazz. Ani diFranco was the first artist to establish her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered as a feminist icons. DiFranco has two daughters: Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They began their relationship at their school, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father is of Italian ancestry and her mom was a Montreal native. Ani Difrasco wrote and sang the track "32 Flavors". The track is part of her album Not a Pretty Girl, that was her sixth studio release. It was featured on the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a variant of this track. In 2013 DiFranco apologized when it was discovered that she planned to host the three-day event in a former Louisiana slave plantation. While she had to cancel the workshop however, a lot of individuals (including our paper) were not able to feel guilt. DiFranco released a second apology just a few days following the first. Her name is associated with her Little Folksinger music, but she has worked with several artists and genres from Pete Seeger to Chuck D. The singer lives in New Orleans. Ani has the name Kristen Ford. She was 14 when she began to compose her own music. They were played in cafes and bars throughout her teenage years. DiFranco was enrolled in Buffalo State College when she was sixteen years old. She was a graduate of the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts in the year she was 16.
