Lis Wiehl works as an American lawyer and writer who was formerly the Fox News analyst.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. Prior to that, she worked as an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has also provided legal analysis for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, the Imus morning programs and is the host of her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl, who was born and raised within Yakima located in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima at West Valley High School. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma at Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 and then an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as an attorney at the US Attorney's Office. She was an NPR legal reporter. All Things Considered. She was "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." The time she worked at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 through 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
