Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
The shadows that she noticed in the grass inspired her to develop a technique, which however, did not paint the chosen object on canvas. The object has been transformed into it's own representation, and the surface takes on the artist's interpretation. It is most effective when dealing with living objects as well as items that have a shelf life such as fruits or people. Alexa's style of painting is ephemeral and only the photographs of her work survive. The painting and the photographic techniques are so closely coordinated that the end result is nothing but a two-dimensional flat space which is able to achieve trompe l'oeil. The third dimension can only be seen in certain areas like near the eyes, or near hair. Meade will sometimes integrate her painting into the surrounding three-dimensional environment that allows the model to be a part of the context of their own. The boundaries between performance, photography, and installation can be dissolved.
