Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 thanks to her catchy electronic pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Her soprano voice and the ability to compose catchy, but deeply honest songs place her in the forefront of modern mainstream music, in addition to an independent and artful pop. Polydor Records offered her a deal as an important label. The singer began to work on her preparations for the release.
