Julia Ormond

JuliaOrmond was the daughter of Josephine, a lab technician, and John Ormond (a stockbroker) located in Epsom, Surrey. She is the second of five children born to her parents. Her first appearances in Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady attracted attention. She then attended Cranleigh School and Guildford High School. After a year in art school , she was redirected to Webber-Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art where she was graduated in 1988. Ormond first made an appearance on British television in the 1989 serial Traffik which focused on the illegal drug trade that stretches from the far East to the streets of Europe. Ormond was the addicted daughter of the main character, who was a Home Office minister in the UK government engaged in combating heroin importation. This first appearance earned him rave reviews.
